Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (Scarless Surgery)
Sils ( single incicion laparoscopic surgery aka laparoendoscopic single site surgery- LESS or scarless surgery)
Rather than the traditional four to five small incisions, a single small incision at the umbilicus is used as the entry point. All surgical instruments are placed through this small incision and the surgery performed. Post surgery with healing, the scar almost gets buried in the umbilicus leaving behind no scar, hence called as scarless surgery.
