Dr. Ramesh is one among the few specialists in India who have performed over 30.000 Operative laparoscopic surgeries. He has also conducted various Laparoscopic camps and presented many papers at various national and international conferences.

He has been the driving force behind several state level and national level workshops and conferences. He has trained and mentored many a young Gynaecologist over the last two decades.

Achievements

• One of the few Gynaecologists in the country to specialize in Gynaec Endoscopy, Infertility, Assisted Reproduction and Urogynaecology.
• One of the first to start TVT and TVT – O procedures for SUI in South India.
• First one to do ELITT (Endometrial Laser Interstitial Therapy) for DUB in South India.
• First one to do single incision Laparoscopic surgery (scarless) in gynecology
• First in India to launch Karl Storz (Germany) 3D Laparoscopy

Most importantly:

• One of the few in the country to perform more than 30,000 major Laparoscopic Surgeries.

Training:

• Has trained more than 800 Gynaecologists in operative laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy from all over India, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Libya etc., and more than 60% of Gynaecologists trained are doing Laparoscopic surgeries.
• Conducts Regular hands on training programme of one-month duration.
• Fellowship in Gynaec Endoscopy for 1-½ years is recognized by Rajiv Gandhi Health University one of the few centers in the country to be recognized for fellowship.
